We were torn between a "higher end" resort and the Inn on Golden Pond -- we are so grateful we chose the latter. The B&B experience is an essential part of a trip to Squam Lake... the rooms were so cute, and the breakfasts were my favorite part of the trip. The owners are so kind, and went above and beyond to make us popcorn for movie night, set up cornhole, and give local recommendations. Especially in covid era, it was the perfect getaway. Cannot recommend enough!!
