If you love craft-beer, New Hampshire has you covered. Whether you are down South in the Monadnock or Seacoast regions, way up North in the White Mountains or Great North Woods or anywhere in between like the Merrimack, Lakes and Dartmouth-Sunapee Regions – its hard to visit anywhere in New Hampshire without finding a delicious quaff nearby.
By my very unscientific count, there have to be at least seventy micro and nano-breweries in the state and I would not be surprised if there are more than one hundred!
One of the best ways to learn about many of the craft beer breweries around the state is to access the Granite State Brewers Association website. Not only is this a great resource for learning about their members but GSBA also sponsors the New Hampshire Beer Trail.
The Beer Trail is pretty straight forward and can be managed the old fashioned way with a paper passport or can be managed digitally through the GSBA smartphone app. Each time you visit a NH brewery you either get your paper passport stamped or you scan the brewery’s QR code using their app. Once you reach ten breweries visited you start collecting swag.
In addition to the opportunity to visit breweries all across the state, GSBA sponsors a NH Craft Brew Week in March and a Brewers Festival every July. Check out their website for more details about 2019’s schedule.
Your NHBBA member Bed & Breakfast innkeepers should be more than willing to help you plan your travels and remember we want you to stay safe so please don’t drink and drive,
