Whether its live theater and music or the dozens of artist studios around the region, the Monadnock Region is well regarded for its rich arts and culture scene. Enhancing that reputation is MonIFF, the Monadnock International Film Festival which will be taking place April 20-22 in the the college town of Keene.
This is the fifth year of the festival which showcases high quality independent cinema from filmmakers here at home and around the world. MONIFF offers feature length narrative and documentary films as well as shorts, and gives audiences the opportunity to interface with filmmakers and industry experts through post screening Q&A’s and lively panel discussions.

If you wish to make a weekend of it, the Keene area of the Monadnock Region has some wonderful B&Bs to stay at including the Inn at Valley Farms in Walpole, the Bridges Inn in Swanzey and the Harrisville Inn in Harrisville.
