Our Inn sits on over 10 acres of rolling meadows and private forest. The Inn has its own trail, linking to Waukewan Highlands Park – – 178 acres of town owned recreational land with additional trails, paths, small ponds and plenty of wildlife. Each morning you will start your day with a full country breakfast. Feza will be on hand in the morning to assist you in planning your day, and helping you make the most of your stay.
I had a great stay at the Ballard House Inn. Fez was a super friendly and accommodating host who clearly cares greatly for his guests. My whole stay was relaxing and comfortable. The Inn was immaculately clean and maintained throughout. Cleanliness means a lot in general but more so now that we are living in the time of Covid19. I really appreciated that Fez paid close attention to the details such as always wearing a mask, gloves, providing sanitizer and ensuring that guests and rooms were appropriately spaced out. The common areas were very nice and updated and the view from the kitchen was beautiful. The coffee bar and refrigerator full of "help yourself" beverages was a very nice touch and made the place feel like home. Each morning Fez provided a delicious breakfast that was made to order. He was attentive to the details and happy to serve. Upon leaving in the morning I was well rested, my belly was full and I had a smile on my face to go out and tackle the day.
